B.A., Human Services, Chestnut Hill College

Ms. Makowski graduated from Chestnut Hill College, PA summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. Her first career experience in Pennsylvania and Arizona focused on providing classroom support for children with special needs. Ms. Makowski has been an advocate for Waldorf Education since 2004. Her early years at DMS were within the early childhood program and grades as an assistant and interventionist.

Both of Ms. Makowski’s children attend Desert Marigold School: Her daughter is in the Grades, and her son is in the Early Childhood program. Her older two daughters have attended Ashwood Waldorf, Maine and Kimberton Waldorf, PA.
