Christie Martin completed her graduate degree after earning a Bachelors degree in Plant Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelors degree in French from Arizona State University. She has taught Biology and Introductory Science in New York City Public Schools and Casa Grande Public Schools, and taught Ecology, Health and Agriscience in a Phoenix Charter School prior to joining the DMS High School faculty.

Christie has been teaching at Desert Marigold High School for eight years, and completed her High School Waldorf teacher training through the Center for Anthroposophy during the summer of 2020.
