Ms. Cummings has taught at Desert Marigold for the last eight years, working in both the grades and the high school. She has her Waldorf Certification and completed a certification from UCLA for College Counseling last year.

Ms. Cummings was raised in Western Massachusetts, by two educators who were passionate teachers and active in the political process of their local and state government. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business & Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Ms. Cummings has lived in both California and Maine and moved to Arizona nine years ago so that her son might attend Desert Marigold.

Ms. Cummings enjoys biking, hiking, baking, reading, ocean walks in Maine, and spending time with her family.
